Join Our Mission to Enrich Haitian Education

A heartfelt thank you to all of our donors who have supported this vital movement. We are so close to reaching our $2,500 goal. Next, we will focus on purchasing books for our intermediate, advanced, and native speakers.

We have been working to bring Haitian Creole books from Haiti to readers beyond the island. Also, our goal is to support local writers and booksellers, who often receive far fewer resources and opportunities on the island. Through this effort, we aim to help strengthen and promote literature created in Haitian Creole.

5-week Haitian Creole Reading
I’ve received my two books in the mail and I am beyond thankful. My Haitian Creole journey started in September of 2024, and a large part of what helped me with learning the language is community. This means that I’ve greatly benefited from people and programs/organizations, like EvoKreyòl, who dedicate their time and resources to Kreyòl speakers and language learners from various places. Thank you to all donors for giving your resources to such a beautiful cause—instances like these are what help keep the love of Kreyòl flowing through my veins.
